The dog litter collector has a hollow biodegradable plastic handle (9) to contain a bag and has a hinged cap (13) at its top to allow opening. The handle has a shaft (2) with a cut out (5) having two end notches (6) to allow a pull rod (3) to engage in them and control movement of the shaft which is connected to a collection frame.
