To mount the landing gear it is surrounded by two symmetrical U-shaped half porticos each comprising vertical uprights connected by lower crosspieces (9) and upper guide rails (10). A rolling beam (13) is displaced by its ends in the guide rails. The beam of one of the porticos serves to guide the displacement of two crab and falls (15,16) whose respective cables (17,18) are fixed to the rear end of the landing gear. The beam of the other portico guides the displacement of a crab and fall (21) whose cable (22) is fixed by its end to the middle of the front crosspiece of the landing gear. An Independent claim is included for equipment for mounting of the landing gear.
