The insect trap, especially for flies, consists of a rectangular light-reflective panel (1), e.g. of plastic or metal, with lines of glue (2) applied across it from a tube. The panel has a groove (3) round its edge to prevent the glue from dripping onto other surfaces, and fastenings (4) on the back for attaching to a supporting surface such as an outside window sill.
