The dispenser consists of a container for a free-flowing liquid or powdered product and a gas, an outlet and a wall that is squeezed to expel the product through a porous element (5') located adjacent to the outlet. It has a capillary feed in the form of channels (25) in the branches (22) of a rigid peripheral structure (20) of the container that guide the product towards the porous element ready for dispensing. In a variant of the design the capillary feed can be in the form of a central absorbent wick in contact with or made as part of the porous element.
