Method for securing the execution of a computer program has the following steps: first step of calculation and memorization, prior to execution of the actual program, of a first signature representative of the execution of the said commands; a second step of calculation and memorization, during the execution of the program, of a second signature representative of the execution of the commands; and detection of any anomalies in command execution from a comparison of first and second signatures. An Independent claim is made for a device for securing the execution of a computer program that has means for calculation and memorization of a first signature (SIG1) prior to program execution.
