The capacitor comprises a longitudinally extending high voltage electrode, a cylindrical printed circuit (CI) coaxially surrounding this high voltage electrode and having an electrically conductive track forming a low voltage electrode (LV), and a chassis (CH) defining an inner surface. cylindrical (SI) coaxially surrounding the cylindrical printed circuit (CI). The printed circuit is split along a generatrix of the cylinder that it forms, and two rings (A1) are attached along the inner surface (SI) to form two circular grooves facing each other. The printed circuit is fitted into these grooves, and the rings (A1) exert a radial force which bends the generatrices of the printed circuit (CI) to hold it pressed against the inner surface (SI). With this arrangement, the printed circuit is plated on the inner surface by elastic deformation, so that the capacitor has improved thermal stability while being very simple to manufacture.
