The method involves dynamically adapting a transport configuration based on capacity needs of transport traffic. The capacity needs of the transport traffic are determined depending on criteria among the criterion (C1, C2, C3). The criterion includes the capacity of the network to accommodate the traffic flow which is attached to a logical link and the quality of a transport service. An Independent claim is also included for a mobile radio communication networks center of operation and maintenance for performing the method of processing the transport network of the radio access network.
