The method involves transmitting from a control apparatus, a command specifying filtering criteria to establish a local list within different set of apparatus. Each list enumerates contents provided by the apparatus and contents in the filtering criteria. Each list is transferred from the apparatus towards the control apparatus and assembled within the control apparatus to form a list of the contents. An Independent claim is also included for an apparatus connected to a domestic network.
