The manual control (2) for a surgical guide has a housing (10) defining an internal passage (12) for the surgical guide (2). The housing has two tongues (14) to prevent axial and angular movement of the guide with respect to the housing. The tongues have an elastically deformable section following a transverse direction to the passage between a stop position and a release position for the guide.
