The seat has a back rest with a vibration damping system in which a vibration damper (3) is horizontally placed in a portion (14) of an interior of a tube of a metallic frame (11). The damper has a flyweight that is axially placed in the interior of the tube and maintained by damper units. The damper units cause vibratory displacement of the flyweight in an axial direction in the portion of the tube.
