The unit has a case (1) divided into two chambers (2, 3) by a motor piston (4). One chamber communicates with atmosphere to create a pressure difference on both sides of the piston corresponding to the action exercised on a brake pedal, during a break action. The pedal transmits its movement by a control rod (11) with a plunger (7) whose length is adjusted to modify the distance between the plunger and a reaction disc (8).
