The device has a hood (1) to mask liberation mechanism of a safety belt. The hood is surmounted on a trapezoid shaft (7) which fixes the device on a diagonal strap (11) without altering effectiveness. The hood is inclined in relation to the shaft (7). The hood has a side which prevents intrusion of finger for opening the liberation mechanism of the belt.
