The sledge (3) has a braking system (4) that contains one of the components of a set constituted by some plough shares and scraping tools. The set functions to slow the sledge while it is moving so as to stop it abruptly/suddenly in case of an emergency, and to anchor the sledge while parking. The functioning of the set in brake is obtained by a voluntary action of a skier on stretcher arms (1).
