The automatic cleaner for palmiped animal cages has a self propelled carriage (3) which moves parallel to a row of cages (1) and a cleaning boom (9) mounted on the carriage with an arm which can oscillate between two end positions. A cleaning fluid nozzle (11) at the end of the arm is angled and follows a circular movement.
