The time device (1) has an external dial (2) graduated in 24 hours in legal time and a needle (13) indicating the legal time on the external dial. An internal dial (3) is graduated in 24 hours in mean solar time, which is indicated by the needle. The external and internal dials are adjustable with respect to each other. The device also contains astronomical information e.g. rise time and set time of the sun.
