PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, for treating a waste plastic composite, which separates foreign substances from the waste plastic composite, and a device for treating the waste plastic composite. PSOLUTION: In this method, for treating the waste plastic composite, which separates and recovers the plastic by crushing the waste plastic composite, a process to pierce foreign substance pieces 2 from among not less than one plastic piece 1 obtained by crushing the waste plastic composite and foreign substance pieces 2 using not less than one needle 22 and a process to separate the foreign substance 2 pierced by the needle 22 from the plastic piece 1.
