PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonaceous protective sheet for a graphite crucible, which prevents the localized deterioration of a graphite crucible to prolong its life.;SOLUTION: The carbonaceous protective sheet 11 for the graphite crucible is disposed between the graphite crucible and a quartz crucible placed inside the graphite crucible and has a substantially circular central part 12 situated on the bottom part of the graphite crucible and a plurality of straps 13 which radiate from the circumference 12a of the central part 12 and intervene between the bottom part of the graphite crucible and the side surface of the graphite crucible, with the proviso that the radiating straps 13 have their respective different set lengths.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
