PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for managing plant inspection and maintenance records and a method and device for confirming plant inspection and maintenance records, with which leakage of plant inspection result data can be surely prevented and a management cost is reduced.;SOLUTION: A management device of plant inspection and maintenance results comprises; a record storage means 102 which is provided in a plant 100 and records results of equipment inspection and maintenance as digital data; a first message digest computation means 103 which computes a message digest as authentication data from digital data stored in the record storage means after the approval of the digital data by an inspection and maintenance manager; a first communication means 104 which transmits the authentication data to a certification organization 108; an authentication record storage means 105 which is provided in the certification organization and registers received authentication data together with a reception time; a second communication means 106 which returns authentication data recorded in the authentication record preservation means to the plant; and an authentication data comparison means 107 which is provided in the plant and compares authentication data returned from the certification organization with authentication data generated in the plant to confirm the identity between both authentication data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
