PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for a bioreactor that has stabilized bond with enzymes, causes no deterioration of enzyme activity due to the reduction of immobilized enzyme and can be simply prepared in no need of complicated pretreatment and provide a bioreactor using the same.;SOLUTION: The carrier for bioreactor comprises SB base material and poly (N-vinylphenyl maleimide) that coats the SB base material and is represented by the formula. An enzyme E is immobilized to the maleimide sites on the surface of the carrier for bioreactor whereby the bioreactor is prepared in which the enzyme is covalently bonded to the maleimide on the carrier surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
