PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intra-patient introduction apparatus capable of coping with a using local region flexibly, and an extra-patient apparatus capable of communicating with the intra-patient introduction apparatus. PSOLUTION: A receiver 2 consisting of reception antennas 6a to 6h and an external apparatus 7 is provided with: a radio communication part 18 for performing radio communication with a capsule type endoscope; a frequency adjustment part 14 for adjusting a frequency used by the communication part 18; a using local region detection part 15 for giving information about the using local region to the adjustment part 14; and a frequency data base 16 for storing a coordinating relation between the using local region and a usable frequency. The adjustment part 14 leads corresponding usable frequency by referring to the data base 16 based on the information about the using local region detected by the detection part 15, and varies the using frequency at the communication part 18 to the led value.
