MOBILE SINKER DEVICE AND SINKER OF FLAT KNITTING FRAME

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile sinker device and a sinker of a flat knitting frame capable of keeping the knitting yarn of an old loop and pressing downward and sufficiently pulling the knit fabric downward. PSOLUTION: A knit fabric 21 is clamped by a second protrusions 14b mutually approaching at a proceeded position of a sinker 8. When the front and back needle beds 3 are positioned opposite to each other in a symmetrical form at an opening 2, the knit fabric 21 is pulled vertically downward by the force applied by a wire spring 18. A knitting yarn receiving part 14c is formed at a first protrusion 14a of the tip end 14 of the sinker 8 to hold the knitting yarn of the old loop and prevent the motion of the yarn according to the proceeding motion of the knitting needle 7. The second protrusion 14b is radially protruded outward at the tip end 14g of the first protrusion 14a and the knit fabric is clamped and pulled down with the second protrusion 14b together with the opposite second protrusion 14b at the side of the needle bed 3.
