PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the moisture content of a wood chip, and accurately measure the moisture content by a simple method to perform material management.;SOLUTION: Wood chips used for a ligneous material pavement are soaked in water only for 10-60 min to adjust the moisture content, and then, specified dripping is carried out and mixing the design of the pavement materials is performed. In a construction site, a regression line expression of the moisture content of the wood chips and unit volumetric mass is obtained in advance, the moisture content of the wood chips is obtained from the result of the unit volumetric mass measurement by using the regression line expression.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
