PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity image selecting device or the like with high convenience capable of selecting a proper commodity image placed in an advertisement. PSOLUTION: The commodity image selecting device selecting a commodity image placed in an advertisement printed matter has an input receiving means for receiving an input of the commodity identification information of a commodity placed in the advertisement printed matter, a commodity image data storing means for storing at least one commodity image data of the commodity in coordination with the commodity identification information, and a priority commodity image data selecting means for selecting commodity image data placed in the advertisement printed matter as priority commodity image data from at least one commodity image data corresponding to the inputted commodity identification information.
