PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the new and epoch-making fundamental structure of a fluid interlacing treatment apparatus capable of realizing such a condition as to make the generation of shock waves more definite, and to provide a method for producing interlaced filament yarns using the apparatus.;SOLUTION: The fluid interlacing treatment apparatus has a yarn treatment path section through which a filament yarn travels and a fluid jet port opened at the yarn treatment path section and functioning to jet a fluid on a traveling filament yarn. In this apparatus, through holes communicating from the wall surface of the yarn treatment path section toward the outside are provided on the side standing against the wall surface where the fluid jet port is opened, and it is preferable to meet the relationship(1):0.2As/A1.8(wherein, A is the cross-section area of the yarn treatment path section, and As is the total cross-section area of the through holes).
