PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crack-detectable sheet glass without disfigurement and a wide range of design flexibility and a sheet glass crack detection system using the sheet glass.;SOLUTION: The sheet glass 1 capable of detecting its crack comprises a base plate 3 made of glass, a thin electroconductive film 4 formed on at least one of glass surfaces of the base plate 3, a pair of detecting sections 5a and 6a being arranged on the thin electroconductive film 4 and detecting resistance change of the thin electroconductive film 4 caused by cracks of the base plate 3, and connecting sections 5b and 6b arranged on butt ends 3c of the base plate 3 and electrically connected to the pair of detecting sections.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
