PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a far-infrared radiation stone and a far-infrared sauna device which has good appearance or aesthetic property and stably far-infrared rays for a long period of time with no breaks despite undergoing large thermal stress.;SOLUTION: The far-infrared radiation stone is produced by a cutting step of obtaining a raw material by cutting a raw stone such as a granite porphyry or a salt stone into the predetermined size, a heating step of heating the raw material obtained in the cutting step at temperature rasing rate of 50 to 150°C/h to 850 to 950°C in a heating furnace, and a cooling step of cooling the heated raw material obtained in the heating step. Further, the far-infrared radiation stones S, S obtained from the above producing method are stacked so as to form the predetermined volume, and heated to 750 to 850°C from inside using heating means 31, 32, 33 to irradiate a sauna room with far-infrared light.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
