PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood coagulation ability measuring method and a blood coagulation ability measuring reagent, for accurately measuring a blood coagulation ability of a specimen containing antiphospholipid antibodies.;SOLUTION: When the specimen, containing the antiphospholipid antibody as a causative agent of an antiphospholipid antibody syndrome and a heterophile blocking substance as a specific reaction absorbing substance (immunoglobulin or serum derived from mammals other than humans and pigs, such as mouse IgG, horse IgG, HBR, NMS, MAK33, mouse sera, horse sera), are mixed, an absorption or neutralization reaction specific to the antiphospholipid antibody is generated.
