ADSORPTION/IMMOBILIZATION CHIP AND METHOD FOR ADSORBING/IMMOBILIZING COMPOUND TO ADSORPTION/IMMOBILIZATION CHIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem encountered in physical/chemical analysis of an organic compound, particularly, a compound having a large chain molecule by employing an infrared reflection spectrography, spectral ellipsometry method or the like because it is very difficult to adsorb/immobilize on a chip a compound having a hydrophilic group such as protein, DNA, bacterium, virus in the molecule with their molecules being oriented in the same orientation.;SOLUTION: The adsorption/immobilization chip is a glass plate covered with a photocatalyst film, and the photocatalyst film comprises a substrate film of a monoclinic zirconium oxide and a crystalline titanium oxide film. Part of the surface of the photocatalyst film is irradiated with light by a light source to hydrophilize the photocatalyst film. After this process, a compound film having a hydrophilic group is coated, and the compound is adsorbed and immobilized on the chip with orientation of its molecules being aligned.
