MOISTURE-ABSORBING EXOTHERMIC CELLULOSIC FIBER PRODUCT HAVING WIND-BREAKING PROPERTY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber product which comprises 100 % cellulosic fibers, has an excellent moisture-absorbing property and an excellent moisture-absorbing exothermic property, low air permeability, and an excellent wind-breaking property, and to provide a method for producing the same.;SOLUTION: The moisture-absorbing exothermic cellulosic fiber product having the wind-breaking property is characterized by batch-treating a cellulosic fiber product with an alkali solution containing sodium hydroxide in a concentration of ≥100 g/L and monochloroacetic acid in a concentration 1/3 to 1/4 based on the concentration of the sodium hydroxide. The fiber product comprising the 100 % cellulosic fibers is excellent in moisture-absorbing property moisture-absorbing and thermal property, of dense textures or stitches, low in air permeability, and excellent in wind-breaking property.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
