PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively correct transverse warpage of a steel plate without requiring a large-scale equipment.;SOLUTION: A pair of roll frames 4, 6, are provided to freely rotatably hold a plurality of small-width rolls 13, 14 arranged in the width direction of a steel plate P and to correct the transverse warpage by making the plate P pass through the frames while clamping and pressing the plate through the small-width rolls 13, 14.
