METHOD FOR EVALUATING HAZARD LEVEL OF EARTHQUAKE INTENSITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To verify earthquake-proof performance after an actual earthquake by specifying the predetermined position of the actual earthquake in an earthquake-proof performance matrix, thereby evaluating the hazard level of earthquake intensity after the earthquake.;SOLUTION: An evaluation method in which, in relation to the hazard level defined in advance based on a hazard curve evaluated in advance, the hazard level of an actual earthquake intensity is evaluated after the earthquake includes: obtaining, based upon the hazard level, the probability of excess corresponding to earthquake intensity (step 4); evaluating the hazard level of the probability of the excess obtained corresponding to the earthquake intensity based upon the hazard level(step 5); and outputting the thus evaluated hazard level onto a map (step 6).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
