PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound quality muffler of an indoor emission type and a sound gathering microphone for obtaining a method that a driver or the like in a cabin listens to exhaust noise itself, in other words, for satisfying two conflicting requests that powerful exhaust noise is desired while enjoying the atmosphere in the cabin completely confined from the outside of a vehicle.;SOLUTION: A portion of a muffler cutter to a distant end of a regular muffler 1 is remodeled from a condition of one plate to a condition of double plates with a hollow space therebetween, and a second muffler is led to the cabin. The hollow space of the muffler cutter 2 and the second muffler are spatially same without anything held therebetween. Alternatively, a sound gathering microphone 8 is disposed in a part at which exhaust noise is most attractive and stimulative, and the noise is introduced to the cabin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
