PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing mechanical pulp, capable of preventing troubles caused by containing an anion trash in a papermaking process by eliminating the anion trash contained in the mechanical pulp.;SOLUTION: This method for producing the mechanical pulp is characterized by comprising a process of dehydrating pulp slurry containing the mechanical pulp to make ≥20 mass % pulp concentration. It is preferable to perform the dehydration by using a device equipped with a means of feeding the pulp slurry in a gap formed between the travelling two pieces of wires and dehydrating the pulp slurry nipped between the two pieces of wires.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
