PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of using a spacer removal tool, sufficiently develop the performance of an earthquake-proof tube without relying upon the diameter thereof, and apply to either of tube propulsion construction methods by pushing and pulling the tube without damaging the coated surface of the tube.;SOLUTION: This propulsive force transmission device comprises thrust transmission bands 3 and 5 fixed to a leading tube 24A and a following tube 24C having a connection part maintained in a extendable state, a thrust transmission stay 6 connecting both thrust transmission bands 3 and 5 to each other, and a breaking bolt 7 as a breaking member. The end part 6B of the thrust transmission stay 6 on the following tube 24C side is fixed to the thrust transmission band 5 through the breaking bolt 7. The breaking bolt 7 breaks through the thrust transmission stay 6 when an extension/retraction force exceeding the breaking strength of the breaking bolt 7 acts on the connection part.
