ROENTGENOGRAPHIC CONTRAST FIBER AND MEDICAL GAUZE USING THE SAME

摘要

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe roentgenographic contrast fiber having sufficient roentgenographic contrast functions, excellent water absorptivity and water holding properties and sufficient strength, readily incinerable/biodegradable even when rejected as wastes and resultantly suitable especially as a material for medical gauze, and to provide the medical gauze using the same. PSOLUTION: The roentgenographic contrast fiber is composed of a roentgenographic contrast inorganic material and a natural vegetable fiber and the roentgenographic contrast inorganic material is contained in an amount of 21 to 50 wt.% in the entity of the natural vegetable fiber.
