PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric multilayered film filter having a predetermined optical characteristic in a target band, a method of designing the dielectric multilayered film filter, a designing program of the dielectric multilayered film filter and an optical add/drop system using the dielectric multilayered film filter.;SOLUTION: The dielectric multilayered film type bandpass filter is provided with a function passing a predetermined wavelength band or a function reflecting the predetermined wavelength band, or the both functions. The film structure thereof is constituted by (1) a mirror layer having an optical film thickness of λ/4 for a central wavelength λ, which is a reference of the optical film thickness, and made by alternately laminating a layer (H) composed of a high refractive index material and a layer (L) composed of a low refractive index material and (2) a spacer layer having an optical film thickness of a multiple of integer of λ/4 and made by a combination of a layer (nH: n is a natural number) composed of a high refractive index material and a layer (nL: n is a natural number) composed of a low refractive index material, and the total optical film thickness is a multiple of integer of λ/2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
