METHOD OF DISPLAYING STATION NAMES AT TIME OF ENTRY IN KANA LETTER WHEN ISSUING SEASON TICKET AND AUTOMATIC TICKET MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability when a kana input screen is operated for displaying names of stations to get on and off for a season ticket, with regard to the purchase of a season ticket on an automatic ticket machine.;SOLUTION: Kana letters are displayed in the Japanese syllabary on the kana input screen having a region of buttons for purchasing a season ticket in the display 11 of the display device 1 of the automatic ticket machine fitted with a touch panel. When a user selects a kana letter of a common leading letter of names of the stations he/she wants, and inputs it, names of the stations related to the inputted common leading letter are searched, and a plurality of names of the stations searched are displayed on the kana input screen. When the user selects the name of the station he/she wants from a plurality of the names of the searched stations displayed on the kana input screen, the selected name of the station is displayed in the column of the station to get on or get off in the region of buttons for purchasing a season ticket displayed on the kana input screen.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
