PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a header contact for achieving reduction in mounting area and in height, and to provide two kinds of socket connectors. PSOLUTION: A multi-connection type header connector 100 has a header housing 110 with a housing chamber 115 concave from a surface 111 and extended up to an end face 113 on a near side in a depth direction; and a header contact 120 of which the contact part 121 is exposed toward the housing chamber 115 and of which the contact part 122 is exposed near the back face of the header housing 110. The header connector 100 can selectively connect to a vertically stacked type socket connector 200 having a projected part 211 engaging with the housing chamber 115 along a height direction at one end in the height direction and taking out an electric wire W from the other end toward a direction intersecting to the height direction and a laterally laid type socket connector 300 having a projected part 311 engaging with the housing chamber 115 along the height direction at an end on the back side in the depth direction and taking out the wire W from the end on the near side in the depth direction toward the direction intersecting the height direction.
