METHOD FOR APPLYING MATERIAL FOR CORROSION PREVENTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for applying a material for corrosion prevention instead of the conventional corrosion prevention method, which is simple, inexpensive, and also free from maintenance.;SOLUTION: A material 2 for corrosion prevention comprising a porous material and a corrosion inhibitor is applied to the surface at the inside of an object for corrosion prevention such as a pipe 1 as paste, or is sprayed on the object for corrosion prevention together with a solvent or is slurried and filled therein. By this method, the material for corrosion prevention is securely contacted with the inside face of the pipe, and corrosion prevention is performed. Further, in the corrosion prevention application, only the preparation of the material for corrosion prevention is needed, and, once it is applied to the object for corrosion prevention, the need of exchange hardly occurs, and the corrosion prevention of the object for corrosion prevention can be performed without carrying out exchange or the like over a relatively long period, thus it is extremely advantageous from the viewpoint of maintenance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
