PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide revetment blocks capable of protecting slope faces for rivers, seacoasts, lakes and marshes, and the like and improving ecological environment of fish, shellfish, and small animals on land and cultivating the vegetation on the sloped face.;SOLUTION: The revetment block 1 is constituted of a rectangular tabular main body 2 in plan view, a front wall part 31 integrally erected at the front end edge of the upper face of the tabular main body 2, right and left side wall parts 32, 33 integrally erected from the rear end edge to the front wall part. An engaging protrusion 2a is formed on the adjacent two side end faces of the tabular main body 2 and an engaging protrusion 2a and an engageable fitting recessed face 2b are formed on mutually adjacent other two side end faces. The upper face of the respective right and left side walls 32, 33 is inclined at a specified angle against the upper face of the tabular main body 2 and formed to continue to the upper face of the front wall 31 and further, in the front wall part 31 and the right and left side wall parts 32, 33, communication holes 31a, 32a, 33a are formed, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
