PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store patient's peculiar information and medical institution information into an IC card, and to reserve medical examination on a network by the use of a communication terminal. PSOLUTION: This medical examination reservation system has: an electronized consultation ticket having a rewritable record part recorded with patient's peculiar information in at least a part of the record part; a patient's portable terminal or a patient terminal (hereinafter both the terminals are each referred to as a patient communication terminal) connectable and communicable with the electronized consultation ticket; an in-medical institution terminal installed inside a medical institution for reading the patient's peculiar information on the basis of a patient's request and recording the medical institution information necessary for the medical examination and the medical examination reservation into the electronized consultation ticket; and a medical information management server connected to the in-medical institution terminal and the patient communication terminal accepting the medical examination reservation on the basis of the request from the patient communication terminal.
