PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring technique capable of making gathered data into a database in real time and monitoring about 5,000 to 6,000 units of computers by one monitoring computer by contriving the processing of gathered data. PSOLUTION: The monitoring system of Internet access for monitoring the Internet access conditions of terminal equipment connected by an in-house network comprises a buffer memory storage means for temporarily storing access record data such as URL/IP addresses included in packets transmitted on a data line in a buffer memory, a database storage means for storing the access record data stored in the buffer memory in an access record database, and a browsing means for enabling the browsing of the access record data stored in the access record database.
