PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new lighting system capable of generally perfectly preventing generation of an ultraviolet ray and suitably usable as, for instance, an insect-proofing lighting system, a lighting system for light-sensitivity patient or a lighting system for a xeroderma pigmentosum sysdrome patient.;SOLUTION: This lighting system is provided with: a substrate 20 on which an ultraviolet ray suppression organic electroluminescent element 1 composed by catching a luminescent layer containing, as an organic luminescent material, only a material emitting light having a wavelength of 380-800 nm between a positive electrode and a negative electrode is formed; a base 22; and a supporting rod 21 with one end connected to the substrate 20 and with the other end connected to the base 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
