PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which can arbitrarily designate various incoming tone melodies at a time originating a call by making it possible to arbitrarily select and designate a desired incoming tone melody out of a plurality of incoming tone melodies stored in a network server without preliminary registering the incoming tone melody at the origination time. PSOLUTION: A plurality of incoming tone melodies are stored in the network server 103. When originating a call, a transmitting party selects, from a transmitting side mobile phone 101, an incoming tone melody for a receiving party, from the incoming tone melody list in the network server 103, and transmits the ID corresponding to the selected incoming tone melody together with the originating signal to the network 102.
