PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for identifying orientation without necessitating any special working, in a compound electronic component equipped with a metal cover.;SOLUTION: Through holes 13, 14, positioned at the corners of upper surface of the metal cover 3 among a plurality of through holes 13-15 provided on the metal cover 3 in order to reduce the weight are arranged, so that a specified component mounted on a substrate 2 such as a part of an LC filter 4 is visible in the region of 1/3-2/3 of the visible range through the through holes 13, 14. These through holes 13, 14 are employed as orientation identifying through holes for identifying the orientation.
