PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for conducting diagnosis of prognosis and/or prediction of result of estrogenic treatment of a patient suffering from mammary cell growth disorder, especially, mastocarcinoma.;SOLUTION: This method determines an expression level of a gene PITX2 of a mammary cell, genetic variation of a genomic DNA related to the PITX2, or epigenetic variation thereof, wherein a specific base sequence derived from breast cancer, an oligonucleotide, and an antibody are used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
