PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance measurement system and method capable of measuring the time axis fluctuation in a converter between an analog signal and a digital signal, etc.;SOLUTION: Conversion between the analog signal and the digital signal is executed by inputting the same white noise having flat frequency characteristics to the Nyquist frequency to a converter to be tested and a reference converter. Then, information about a sample phase error of the converter is obtained by calculating the cross-correlation of both signals after conversion and performing frequency analysis such as FFT to time series of the cross-correlation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
