PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a plurality of image processing by a camera and a monitor in a distributed manner to improve processing efficiency of a system.;SOLUTION: In the moving body detecting system 10, an information system network 11 including the cameras 12 to 15 and the monitor 16, and a vehicle body system network 21 including each of sensors 22 to 24 are connected to a gateway apparatus 18. The gateway apparatus 18 determines a moving body detecting camera and a moving body type specifying camera depending on a vehicle state detected by each of the sensors 22 to 24 to output an instruction signal for instructing the determined contents to be processed toward the information system network 11. The camera that has received the instruction signal to detect the moving body performs the moving body detection processing, while the camera that has received the instruction signal to specify a type of the moving body performs moving body type specifying processing, thus realizing distributed processing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
