DECORATIVE FRAME STRUCTURE FOR STAIR INCLUDING SPIRAL STAIRWAY

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish an intersecting part of a tread, a riser plate and a sidewall with a decorative frame structure of simpler structure and particularly to carry out decorative finishing of a spiral stairway at a lower cost. PSOLUTION: This decorative frame has a first face material 11 of strip shape for covering the side edge upper face of the tread 2; second face materials 12, 12A for covering the side edge front face of the riser plate 3; tread covers 13, 13A, 13B put over the side edge front face of the tread 2; and a corner cover 14 for covering an internal corner between the upper ends of the second face materials 12, 12A and the tread cover 13. The tread covers 13, 13A, 13B are formed of plastic moldings of U-shaped cross section. Front walls 22, 27 of the tread covers 13A, 13B in a spiral stairway part T are inclined coinciding with the tilt angle of the tread 2.
