PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical and efficient method for immobilizing DNA applicable to DNA including arbitrary gene, a method and a kit for synthesizing a protein, a method for preparing a protein chip and a kit.;SOLUTION: The method for immobilizing DNA comprises (1) a process for preparing an immobilized adaptor DNA wherein the adaptor DNA has a biotinyl group on a terminal and a functional terminal capable of reacting with a nucleic acid on the other terminal and the DNA is immobilized by a bond composed of the biotinyl group and an avidin on a substrate on which the avidin is arranged, (2) a process for separately preparing a target DNA containing the target gene and having a terminal capable of bonding to the functional terminal of the adaptor DNA, (3) a process for preparing the DNA immobilized on the substrate by bonding the immobilized adaptor DNA with the DNA containing the target gene.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
